Carlos Sue '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Norman Carlos Wong Sue. Our first ticket to the NCAA 2022 D2 Tournament was this year after winning both the regular season and the Conference Carolina’s tournament. I am a currently at Converse University in Spartanburg, South Carolina, playing wing or OB. My current GPA in college is 3.8 while taking 5 classes. I am a team favorite who brings passion, drive and teamwork on and off the field. Often you'll see me motivating my team to get in extra practices and perform team-building excerises. I am very interested to play college soccer at a Science and Technology- based school.

Before Converse University I was a dual sport athlete in both lacrosse and soccer; however, I am pursuing a collegiate soccer career. I was at Alexandria u19 Red Academy last year. I trained with Alexandria Soccer Association u19 MLS Next and UPSL Teams. I was also a member of the Virginia State Olympic Development Team at the State Level. I went with Arlington (VA) Soccer Association to the 2018 Super Y National Finals in Bradenton, FL. I was also playing lacrosse with the Wakefield (VA) High School Varsity team. I am passionate about the sport of soccer and have dedicated myself not only to my training but also to my academics to show recruiters that I am a viable student-athlete at the collegiate level. In my first collegiate semester, I anticipate a 3.8 GPA. I stumbled academically coming into High School, but posted a 3.5 GPA in my Sophomore year and a 3.7 in my Junior year. In my senior year, I had a 3.3 overall GPA in High School.
