Tyler Johnson '23 Recruiting Profile

I’ve been a soccer player since I was 4 years old.  At a very young age I was intrigued by the pro players that introduced me to the sport at preschool.  Over time I've been coached by several of them.  I've had many successful coaches encourage me to reach my potential by pushing me to achieve what they knew I could.  Everyone grows at a different rate, I worked to improve on technique and skill while waiting for my height and weight to catch up.  As a quiet person, I found my voice and confidence on the field.  My love of the game, coachability and unselfishness has allowed me to learn and be a leader to my teammates.  My dedication for positive growth, in the game and classroom, will help me continue to succeed in high school and college.  I am looking forward to attending a university where I can explore my field of interest and play the beautiful game.
