Sarah Schmitt '21 Recruiting Profile

I believe what sets me apart from other recruits is that I am a very hard-worker and very coachable at the same time.  With a background in gymnastics and sprinting,  I went from being a beginner pole vaulter my sophomore year to being a state champion just 5 months later. I am very passionate about pole vault and always put my best foot forward. I believe I would make a very positive impact on your team because I not only try to do my best, but I also encourage my teammates to do the same. I not only excel on the track, but I also excel in the classroom. I have a GPA of 4.56 and will be taking 3 AP classes this upcoming year. Once in college, I hope to major in biomedical engineering and go on to medical school.
