Joseph Burton '23 Recruiting Profile

My name is Joseph Burton. I am from Stephens City, Virginia. I am a junior(2023) at Sherando high school. I play travel soccer for Blue Ridge United 05 Orange #17.  I have been playing soccer since I was 5 years old and I am pushing for an opportunity to play at the next level. 

Soccer has taught me teamwork and leadership. The competitiveness of the game and the hard work on and off the field are the key fundamentals to me being and becoming a more successful player. I am always pushing myself to the limits while continuing to work with my teammates and making the team and myself better. 

My goal is to continuing to play soccer at the higher level and to work my hardest for that goal to be achieved

I am involved with my high school indoor track team where I run the 55 meter sprint with a time of 7.14 and I also compete in long jump with a PR jump of 18’8”
