Tyler Koerner '23 Recruiting Profile

Hi I'm Tyler Koerner, I have been Wrestling since 2nd grade and I love everything about it.  This year I was a state placer and beat the returning state champion from last year. Winning individually is great but I was more excited that my team placed 2nd in the state.  I love my teammates and my coaches a lot; I would not be in the position I am today if it was not for them.  In the description on this it says what makes me different than other recruits, well all recruits say I will make your program better. I'm going to a school to win matches, this year was rough for me  in January I suffered a injury that would have kept me out for the rest of the season.  That did not stop me from winning; I tore a muscle in hip which made it hard to move my leg, and I still found a way to win matches. my Sophomore season, my county decided to not participate in VHSL so that meant no states for me, that was another reason why I wanted to keep going.  Thank you for reading this and I am hoping I am the right guy for your team
