To Whom it May Concern;
As an aspiring Business Owner and Professional Soccer player, I am applying to your University because my research indicates that your outstanding Soccer program and Business department will provide me with the best possible preparation for my life plan.
I was born in the Suburbs of the Ethiopian Capital and adopted into America, a nation of endless opportunities. My academic background, community involvement and soccer accomplishments have prepared me for success. I have played soccer for 10 years and have helped lead our team to the semi-finals twice and winning the championship twice. I am a leader who works well with others and is not afraid of hard work. I have volunteered at churches, camps and schools over my high school career which has helped me grow. These endeavors make me a great fit for your school where I am sure I can take my track record of success to the next level.
I am excited to begin my college education and am committed to achieving academic excellence as a student at your University. Many have seen my natural and instinctive talents for Soccer and with a strong program and good coach that hones, sharpens and teaches me new skills, I believe I will go far towards my goal of becoming a professional soccer player. I greatly appreciate your consideration and look forward to receiving news that I have been accepted into the freshmen class of 2021.
If you have any questions for me or if I can be of assistance in any way, please let me know. You may reach me at 608-563-5108.
Sincerely;
Dershaye Fry
