Starting on Varsity as a freshman was a big wake up call, telling me I need to step up and work harder than ever. I strived and worked and even earned a 2nd team all conference award as a freshman. In addition, I have worked hard to go from a back up goalkeeper on my state level club team to a starting goalkeeper on that club team. I feel I have grown and prospered from being put into that pressure starting as a freshman, while all the other starters were 2-4 years older than me. I have been tested more and more through the years in and out of soccer and I feel I have pushed myself to fix any mistakes I have made in or out of the game of soccer. Fixing my mistakes has pushed me to look towards college to try to reach the highest level possible. I feel I am more than capable to play on any college team and make a good stand where I play.
I have played for a fantastic club and a great high school. Playing multiple sports has helped me grow and use different strategies to play high level soccer. Playing baseball and tennis has taught me to play quick and fast. Playing football has taught me how to read different situations in the right moments. I have demonstrated good teamwork, leadership, and hard work.
In free time I value doing anything active and/or competitive with anyone who wants to join. I enjoy Wakeboarding, Snowboarding, Bowling, Working out, and even messing around or training and playing soccer. I join indoor leagues and play pickup games at Inbounds in Milwaukee, WI during offseason or during my free time. Soccer to me has been a good source of stress relief throughout my life. Playing or even watching helps me handle stressful situations.
I am looking for a good program for me to grow and learn more. I want to succeed in my academics and my sports.
