Owen Johnson '18 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Owen Johnson and I am a senior this year at Kimberly High School, Kimberly Wisconsin and play for North Shore United in Cedarburg, Wisconsin.  My strengths as a player include my vision for the field, quick and accurate passes to the open player to keep the pace of the game moving.  Another strength of mine is being able to play center back, as well as goalkeeper and being able to perform highly in both positions.  Goalkeeper is my main position but playing center back has greatly improved my footwork, helping me with my explosiveness to the ball and being able to move my feet quicker to make more difficult saves.  With my vision of the field as a goalkeeper, it improved my defensive skills to help guide other players back to help on defense to make sure the ball doesn't end up in the back of the net.
