My name is Jimmy Oberbroeckling and I am aspiring to play college soccer at any college level. My goal is to play four years of soccer in college while also studying any one of my three listed fields of study. I am a good candidate for any college team because of my passion for the game. I have high expectations for the performance of any team that I play for. My passion for the game of soccer is reflected in my work ethic as well. Whatever skills that may seem to be lacking in my game will be made up for with my motivation to win. I do not like to lose and will do my very best to help prevent this. I am different than other recruits because of my leadership ability and my knowledge of the game. In terms of skill, I am likely similar to many other recruits. I am an all around athlete, to put it simply. These leadership skills that I possess, however, put me above my competitors. I want to see the best out of my teammates and I want them to preform to the best of their ability. This is where my leadership will come into play. Along with leadership, I believe that I have a great knowledge of the game of soccer. I am able to decipher the best choices to make while on the field and I am able to help direct others to have that same vision as me. Overall, no matter what college I play for, I will utilize my strengths as a player and a person to help positively benefit the team in order to achieve the best outcome possible.
