Landon Deneen '23 Recruiting Profile

My love for the sport of soccer started at a young age; from the time I learned to walk, I was kicking the ball around in the yard and watching Premier League on Saturday mornings. I started playing organized soccer at the age of 3.

When I reached the High School level, we got a new head coach, and our program had a weak history.  Our first year was rough, but we had a large freshman class, myself included, who made up almost half of the starting lineup.  Through the next two years, that group of guys, along with our coach, grew and improved together.  We formed a strong bond, which has strengthened my love for the sport. Last season (junior year), we went 13-3-2 and won the regional championship.

College is the next step in my life. I would like to study engineering, meet new people, experience new things, and hopefully, be a part of a team.  I love dedicating myself to an athletic culture. On and off the field, I'll put in the work needed to help my team win, and have fun doing it.
