I have seven older brothers and they all played soccer, so that is why I even started playing soccer. After I actually started playing soccer I realized that it is a great sport and I enjoy playing even if I am not always on the winning team. That is when you learn the most is when you lose because it shows you what you have work on to overcome that defeat. Therefore some things that I learned about myself playing soccer is that I don't give up easily. If there is something that I have to work on to get better, it does not matter what it is whether it is shooting or math in school, either way, it is important, and I will do my best to get better.
My academic goals through high school and college are to get B and higher. My goal for the ACT in high school is to get a score of at least twenty-four. That would be very good to get that score because that would mean that all the effort that I put in actually paid off and I can go on from there. Going back to soccer, some of my hidden skills are the most important pieces to my game. Like being able to bring the team together after a tough loss. That might not seem that important on the field, but it is. You and your team have to trust each other to win big games. You cannot just try to be the Allstar of the team by dribbling through everybody and scoring.
