Max Angove '22 Recruiting Profile

I am excited to be part of a team and swim competitively whilst studying in the United States. I am a very hard worker and always give my best in all that I do. The college that I attend will have my utmost dedication and commitment in both swimming and academics. I really enjoy being part of a team and swimming towards a bigger goal than just my own results. I am a respectful and well balanced student and I can see myself improving in my swimming  as I get older, grow more and my hard work pays off. 

What makes me different from others is the ability to push myself beyond what I feel possible. Mentally I am strong and I am able to go that next level and really exert myself. You can be assured that swimming for a team pushes me to try even harder. I am only just starting to see some results in my swimming. I feel that this is the tip of the iceberg. I know I am capable and have the right work ethic and attitude to really go somewhere.

Academically I am a very good student and I continue to do well in all subjects and in particular Mathematics. I have a real interest in Mathematics and am able to grasp it quite easily. Sciences are also my strength and hence I think Engineering will be a good fit for me. I am confident that I can handle the workload in an Engineering course and swim well competitively. In fact the thought of such a possibility is really exciting for me!
