Swimming is one of the most important aspects of my life. Having the opportunity to train and compete at a collegiate level would be a privilege and a highly valuable experience in my athletic career.
I have been competing at a high level for 4 years both nationally and internationally so my experience with different clubs, coaching, and standards of meets is diverse.
Ever since I discovered the Olympics it has been my dream to work my way up to that level and compete so college swimming will put me on a great path to achieve my dream.
My dedication to swimming is just as strong as it is in my academics. I have always strived to excel in my studies and obtain high grades. Throughout college, I will continue to focus on maintaining that GPA with a similar focus on my swimming career.
I have been fortunate to train with different swim clubs and enjoy the different experiences they have provided me. As a team member, I enjoy a healthy competition with my teammates. I can lead and be led. I can encourage and am always open to trying new ways to improve my performance. I strive to push my teammates to do their best just as I strive to do my best.
