Throughout my life and years of high school, I have discovered my true passion for swim and would hope to continue the sport past high school and into college. I have been swimming since the age of five and am currently on my twelfth year of competing. I never thought about competing at a college level until my years as a high school swimmer brought out my interests and love for the sport. What sets me apart from other athletes are my experiences from other activities, such as marching band, that allowed me grasp the importance of key traits such as devotion and responsibility. My commitment to both band and swim has provided me with an understanding of how to prioritize and manage my time while still being devoted to both programs. I hope to utilize the same set of skills as an athlete in college and show my dedication to my sport. I am able to stay positive throughout hard times and am also flexible both in and out of the pool. I make time for all activities and am able to adjust to whatever a coach or instructor needs.

- I started swimming with the Gators at age 5. As a 9-10 I held records in all strokes for our team. I currently hold the league record for 100 Breast for 15-16 boys.

- ActivitiesI am a part of the State Champion Emerald Brigade High School Marching Band. I've played Tenor Drums as part of the Drumline for all three years of high school. I also participate in the Winter Percussion program. I volunteer in my Church Music Group playing drum set. I've been coaching for the last three years as part of my summer recreational swim team.
