I would love to swim for a top-tier college swim team. I don't have many specific aspirations for collegiate swimming, as I like to take things one step at a time. I believe that I am a great candidate for any team because I am a nice, caring, compassionate person who easily fits into most groups and I would add a lot to the team. I am different in many ways from other people. To begin, I have always prided myself on my work ethic. Every coached who has ever coached me has said that I am one of the hardest working swimmers they have ever coached, and that I am highly coachable. I always go for the faster interval and go all-out throughout most practices. I am very ambitious in my goals, and most are seemingly impossible, but I have always seemed to accomplish them through hard work and great training, culminating in a great swim at the end of a season. I am mentally solid and always ready to swim fast, even at training/dual meets. I am also different from other recruits because I am passionate. I am very passionate about everything that I do in my life, especially swimming. My dedication to the sport is what has carried me through many years in this sport. I am also an overachiever in academics and have a GPA of 4.1; the highest I can possible have as a freshman at my high school. I also skipped the mandatory science course at my school at took Physiology as a freshman, and I am taking physics and chemistry simultaneously during my sophomore year. For these reasons, I know that I can be a great addition to any college program.
