Personal Statement
I began swimming at the age of 7 for a summer swim league and have fallen in love with the sport. Although I just recently began swimming competitively, I have a history with competitive athletics and understand the importance of practice and leadership. What separates me from others is the mentality and grit to keep going through the hard and challenging parts of swimming knowing that the results of perseverance will create a stronger character and times. I think with my athletic potential, I have the ability to be a great swimmer in college. I enjoy the rigor of academics and athletics and would love the opportunity to pursue both in a university setting.

- I began swimming full-time right before COVID-19 restrictions limited meets. As a result, my exposure at events has been limited. I'm looking forward to the year ahead where I will be able to continue training and attend more meets.
