My name is Jason Bonasera and I have been swimming since I was 9 years old. Before I started swimming, I pursued bowling, basketball, and soccer. I gave swimming a try and fell in love with it immediately. Since then I have swam for the city of Coral Springs and for Coral Glades High School.
At Coral Glades High School I am a part of the Cambridge (AICE) Program and the AP capstone program. Both programs require myself to take AP and AICE classes at school in order to receive the Cambridge and Capstone diplomas. I am currently within the the top ten in terms of class ranking in my school.
Once I graduate in 2021, I want to pursue biomedical engineering while continuing my passion for swimming in college. I want to continue to improve my swimming while meeting and interacting with new faces. Engineering and biology have always been my favorite topics in high school, and swimming has always been my escape from school as it helps relieve stress. So, I hope to pursue swimming and biomedical engineering through my college experience.
