Christopher Retana '20 Recruiting Profile

My goal is to be an NCAA national champion. I'm a good teammate, I bring a lot of energy and excellent work ethic. I don't make excuses and look to get better everyday. I'm a versatile swimmer and athlete. I maintain good grades and have good time management skills.  My education is very important to me. What separates me from my competitors is that I give my absolute best in practice, meets, and in the classroom.   If I don't reach a goal time or swim poorly, I shake it off and learn from my mistakes.  I am a team player and my meet highlights are always the relays.  I am a good listener and take my practices very seriously.  I enjoy the land training sessions as much as the pool sessions.  I believe my coaches and mentors would agree that I always have a positive attitude and I give my best effort.
