Personal Statement
Hello! My name is Jonah Jackson, and I am a homeschooled swimmer in the class of 2022. Since a young age, I have been fascinated by water and have been around the water my whole life. My swimming career began when I was 8 years old and I swam till about the age of 12. I took about a year off because of was not enjoying it as much as I used to, however, I quickly grew to miss the sport. I resumed swimming in Australia at the age of 13 and at the age of 14 I was elected team captain for Woden Valley Swimming Club. Since then I have strived to become the best student, athlete, and leader as I can possibly be and have improved greatly in the sport. I look forward to continuing my swimming career in the years to come.
