Colton Lane '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a hardworking student athlete.  I swim year round at least 7 times per week and have juggled a school and swim team schedule since the age of 6.  I am part of two of the largest swim teams (YWCA Flying Fish and Evanston Township High School) in the area which means I have to fight for my spot continuously.  I love challenging myself physically and mentally and take great pride in my accomplishments both in and out of the pool.   Although I have a strong breaststroke and backstroke I am a versatile swimmer that can step into any event my coach needs me to swim.  I have a positive attitude and come to practice ready to work every day.  

Although swimming is important my first priority is school.  I work hard to keep myself on the honor roll, and maintain A's and B's in my honors level classes.  It is the midway point in my sophomore year and I have already been recommended for several AP courses in my Junior year.
