I started swimming when I was 6, I first learned the very basics and then went on to start competing when I was 10. I overcame challenges and kept swimming even when I had thoughts of quitting the sport, pushing through all the difficulties gave me a mentality to stay diligent and never lose sight of my goals. I see practices as a chance to keep improving and I never get demoralized at hard practices, I'll always be willing to give 100% and nothing less. Having good guidance when it comes to swimming is important to me, I'm always trying to develop my skills and I want someone to make sure I'm developing in the best way I can.
I stay focused academically making sure my studies come first, I view having a chance to learn new things as a privilege and not as a burden. I work well with people and I'm never hesitant to ask for help when I struggle with something. I'm a disciplined person who always intends to be ready to work and listen.
My best stroke is butterfly and is the stroke I want to focus on the most.
