I started swimming when I was eleven and fell in love with the sport instantly. As an individual, I am competitive. I love competing more than anything, whether it's against my teammates in practice or at a championship meet. To me, the competition and grind is what makes this sport so special. I am also a very hard worker in the pool and always try to bring my hardest working self to practice everyday. Goals are a major part this sport for me, and I am always creating goals for myself both in practice and meets so I can improve. One thing that swimming has taught me is work ethic, both inside the pool and in the classroom. Swimming has also brought me countless friendships and showed me what a positive community truly looks like.
In college, I'm looking for a program that will fit me athletically and academically. I believe I am a good fit for any program because I will always bring my best self to practice and contribute positivity and leadership towards the team. I know I have what it takes to be a successful college athlete.
