My name is Jaxon Bradburn. What makes me a good candidate for your team is I know how to work hard, and I am coachable. This is because I listen to corrections on my technique and do my best to execute what I'm being taught. I get along with people very easily and I am a leader. What separates me from other recruits is I have a good Christian faith that allows me to make good decisions in life, and I really know how to work hard no matter what obstacles I might face. I can bounce back from defeat/ disappointment easily, and I work hard to get good grades in school. With your help, I want to go to the Olympic trials and possibly the Olympics.
I started competitive swimming when I was 10 which is much later than most successful swimmers I know. However, I have not allowed that to stop me from achieving my goals. Though I am typically much shorter than those next to me on the blocks, I have been extremely determined to improve on my technique which has helped me to beat many swimmers who seemingly have a physical advantage. I pay attention to details, am extremely motivated and I work diligently every day to get stronger and faster.
