Personal Statement
I have been swimming since I was 8 years old. Throughout the years I have had my definite highs and lows in swimming. One of my highs as a young swimmer was when I got to swim at summer championships for the first time. Swimming at summer championships is no where near the biggest achievement that a swimmer could be proud of, but it showed me that swimming was fun an exiting. Since then I have won many races and lost many as well. I have joined new teams and made new friends. I have learned the importance of leadership, Character and good work-ethic in sports. I have always wanted to swim at the collegiate level and I truly believe that I have what it takes to swim competitively in college.
