I was born in The Bahamas where I spent my whole life until I moved to the US in August of 2015 for a better education and swimming opportunities. While in The Bahamas I had the privilege of being a member of The Bahamas National Swim Team from 2011 to the current team. I have competed in The Carifta, CISC, and CCCAN swimming championships which take place throughout the Caribbean and Central America. I feel that these international swimming experiences have helped prepare me for swimming on the collegiate level and the pressure that comes with it.
I am dedicated swimmer that knows what it is like to be in a pool practicing before the sun rises and after is sets. Swimming has taught me the discipline and organization that it takes to balance my school work and my practice schedule. I am a hard worker and I know there is a lot to learn to continue to be the best swimmer that I can be.
My swimming goals are to swim in the NCAA championships and one day make the Olympic team for The Bahamas. My ultimate Collegiate goal is to graduate from a school that will prepare me for my life after my swim career has ended.
