I have been swimming a very long time. Ever since I can remember I have been in a pool. Obviously with time comes skill, and you become better at things over time. But I don’t just swim because I’m good at it. I swim because I have passion for the sport. A true love for it that makes me want to get better at it and push myself past what I thought was my limit. The energy that I bring on deck, whether it’s at practice or at a meet, pushes not only me but everyone around me. I have always strived to improve my times through self motivation and dedication that also influences the team around me.
I bring the same energy to the classroom that I do to swimming. I am constantly trying to better understand things that I don’t and improve my knowledge of all my subjects. Not only is learning new things important in life but finding ways that help you learn efficiently and correctly are extremely important. I have always found ways to help me learn the best and that is the most difficult part for a lot of people.
