2021 SpotlightPersonal Statement
I love to swim distance with the 400/500FR being my favorite event, followed by the 800/1000FR. I also like to swim the 100/200BR and 400IM. I have been swimming for about 9 years and feel like I am just starting to hit my stride as a late bloomer. I've recently added in more strength and weight training and am starting to see big results from it in the water. I am committed to reaching my goal of swimming in college, along with maintaining top grades.
I am looking to swim for a college that not only pushes me to continue to improve, but that embraces a family atmosphere where everyone cheers for their teammates, whether they come in first or last.
