I’ve had a love for swimming since I was five years, starting from the moment I took my very first lesson at “Take Me to the Water Swim School”. Swimming has been a very influential part of my life and it has taught me important life lessons such as to never give up, the value of hard work and to continue to push yourself. Swimming is a passion of mine and I am always looking for ways to improve upon my technique and times. A goal of mine is to swim competitively at the collegiate level where I can contribute to and be a part of a great team atmosphere.
In addition to my strong desire to swim competitively, I am equally interested in find the right college that will challenge me academically, as well as prepare me for the world ahead. I take great pride in my studies and work very hard to earn good grades and maintain my GPA. When not studying or swimming, I work as a life guard and serve as a swim coach to younger swimmers at the Common Point Queens (Central Queens Y). I believe that my extracurricular schedule has taught me how to effectively manage my time which will help me in my transition to becoming a successful student-athlete in college. I am open to any institution that will offer these opportunities and I look forward to hearing back and meeting with the coaches.
