Grant Sweney '22 Recruiting Profile

I’m a well rounded athlete in both sports and academics. I started swimming my sophomore year of high school, before that I never heard of the term flipturn, off the blocks and many other terms swimmers hear daily. Now I have fallen in love with the sport and train everyday in order to better myself and give my team the best chance at winning. Going into my senior year I want to help my team on getting our relay to state and have the best season possible. In school taking multiple AP classes throughout my high school career and gaining the achievement of top 20% in my class along with sports has made me appreciate the people around me. My values of integrity, honesty and ambition all revolve around teammates , friends and family.  I look forward to working towards achieving my goals and supporting my teammates in the season to come.
