Christian Almaraz '22 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christian Almaraz and my goal is to be a collegiate swimmer while working diligently towards a Bachelor of Science Degree in Health Science/Biology, Engineering, or Computer Science. Swimming is my passion and has been since I was introduced to the sport at the early age of six. Since then, I have developed my technique and stroke by swimming with club teams competitively since 2012. 

The sport of swimming set the foundation and allowed me to build essential life skills that are paramount to who I am today; the determination to succeed, and the continuous motivation to achieve my personal and professional goals.

 Finally, swimming gave me the opportunity to develop and refine my leadership capabilities, and see the value in teamwork as I look forward to 2022, and my senior year of high school swimming as Team Captain. My contribution to the sport of swimming at the collegiate level is grounded in my hard work ethic, passion for the sport, and unrelenting will to never give up.
