My name is John Grayson Taylor and I have fallen in love with track. Track gives me the opportunity to better myself and to prove to myself that I am somebody. I do not see skill as luck, but rather devotion and work ethic, and that is what I love about sports. No matter how naturally gifted someone might be there is always the guy that will outwork them and beat them and that is what I believe separates me from other recruits. I am the recruit that will stay late and put in extra reps while everyone else goes home. I am the recruit that will push myself and those around me till we hit our breaking point. I am the recruit that will make my teammates feel good about trying their best no matter how good that may be. My collegiate goals and aspirations are to run track in college and be apart of a team. I also want to be able to earn the highest level of education possible, but I mainly just want a chance and opportunity to run. I feel that if I get that shot that I will make the absolute best of it and will not let anyone down.
