Hello, my name is Milo Fagan. I am looking for a university that will help me achieve my goal of becoming an Engineer, along with offer a great experience that will help to aid my future. I would love the opportunity to be able compete on the school swim team and represent my school everywhere I can. I am someone who is competitive within his own team and works hard to push my fellow teammates to bring their all every single day. I often encourage and push my teammates to come to every practice they can. No matter how hard and unforgiving our training is, I remind them how important it is to put trust in our coaches and build positive momentum that is able to be built upon. For these reasons I know I would strengthen the bond between fellow swimmers and make a great addition to your team.
One thing that separates me from the rest is my strong belief in balance and sacrifice. In order to live a happy and successful life, all aspects must work side by side and increase productivity amongst each other. If this is done correctly, you will see great improvements in all aspects including athletics, academics, and your personal fulfillment. However, if one piece of the pie is given too much or too little that means you are taking away from something. Whether that be a good or bad change, you are deciding to sacrifice an aspect of your life by giving it less attention in order to increase another. It is all up to you to decide how you want your pie to look, and it is important to find the right balance for you.
