Jason Torres '24 Recruiting Profile

Throughout my search for the perfect sport, I  tried many. I tried football, basketball, baseball, and even soccer. None clicked. I had always liked to swim from a young age but I never knew I could take it and compete with it. I instantly enrolled into a summer league and I have been hooked ever since. I am a great candidate for your team because I bring a huge team spirit. I work very well with others and I love clutching relays. My academics have always been good as I have never gotten below a B. I am a very hard worker and will work to my full potential.  In addition, hate to lose far more then I like to win. This brings my competitive level very high and my determination level even higher.  I believe what makes an athlete great is not mastering how never to fall, but rather mastering how to get back up after the inevitable fall and hit back harder.
