Matthew Regan Swi...Personal Statement
My goal would be to find the ideal fit both academically and athletically. From an athletic standpoint, I want to be a major contributor to the team. While I've been something of a late bloomer, my best events seem to be focused at the 50-200 distances. I would like to find a team that would train me at those distances so that I will continue to improve. Although my best strokes are fly and freestyle, I'm not a bad breast stroker or IMer. My coaches will attest that I'm a hard worker, extremely focused and driven to succeed; I will give any team that same commitment level.
From an academic standpoint, I want to be sure that my college choice will provide the preparation needed for me to succeed at my ultimate career choice.
