I am a great candidate for your team because I will push myself at anything thrown at me. If I am dedicated to something I will do anything in my capability to be the best, and that is swimming. Any time I walk onto the pool deck and hop in the pool, I'm in a mental state that helps me when doing extremely hard sets. I do not only push myself in the pool but also the classroom. If I am interested in a subject I will learn more about it to be ahead of the game and ready for new information.
I believe what makes me different is my mental state when we do our main sets and attend swim meets. When pushing myself to my breaking point in long, hard sets my mental state gives me an extra boost of energy in the pool.
