Hi, my name is Evan Malcolm, and I am a sophomore at Royal St. George’s College in Toronto, Canada. Swimming is my passion, and I have been swimming on the Granite Gators since I was 7, and have loved it since I can remember. My first “Top 25 in Canada” award was given to me when I was 11, and I am still receiving the award today. I received “Most Improved Swimmer” three years in a row as well as the Merit award. However, Not only am I a dedicated student-athlete who swims 17 hours a week, I am also one of the more experienced debaters on my debate team. I am a friendly, kind person who is also a great teacher. I pass my swimming knowledge down to younger people through a program called Frank’s Swim School. I am supportive and caring to everyone, which makes me a great helper. I am a go-to person for extra help in my hardware class. I am a thorough, analytical person, but I love exploring my interests and expanding my friend group. I am an active member of both the Dungeons and Dragons and film club at my school because I love getting to meet and work with new people. I love robotics and delve into my passion with Exceed Robotics. I love listening to rap/hip-hop music and I am very polite. My goal for swimming in college is to have a cooperative and competitive team that has lots of team spirit, as well as an enriching curriculum in engineering.
