Jacob Dzurica '22 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Jacob Dzurica and I am a swimmer on the Hempfield Area High School Swimming and Diving team in Greensburg, Pennsylvania.  I I first lettered during the 2019-2020 season as a Sophomore.  I have now completed my Junior year and although COVID derailed most of our pre-season and shortened our season, I'm still happy with how I swam.  I was able to set and meet my goals despite less time in the pool than I have ever had before.

I started swimming for the Hempfield Aqua Club as an elementary aged student and this team gave me a great foundation which began my love of  swimming.  I will graduate high school in 2022.  I mainly swim the 100 Backstroke and the 500 Freestyle.  I'm a hard worker and a respectful teammate.  My goal is to continue my swimming career at a the collegiate level.  I plan on majoring in Accounting in college.  I will be a great fit for a team that is looking for athletes with a big passion for their sport.
