My name is Anthony Piraino. My goal for a field of study in college is History and Political Science. I am a good candidate for the team not because I am necessarily the best swimmer in the pool, but I can promise you I will be the hardest working. I never give up, day in and day out I'm going to give 110% because that's what it takes to win. I never give up and I will pay the price to win. I'm a good distance swimmer not only because I was gifted with good endurance, but I've got the mental fortitude to never give up and push my self above and beyond. I am also not an individual. I will do what it takes to better and help not only myself but the team. I am very much a team person. In addition, my athletics are good with a 5:03.97 in my 500 free and a 1:52.36 in my 200 free. This makes me already competitive in Division 3 College Swimming. My academics are also good with a 3.7 average. I am a good student with a love of learning. I believe that not only what I said above demonstrates why I am a good candidate for your team, but also represents what sets me apart from other recruits.
