Ally Hilty '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello my name is Ally Hilty. I am from Murrysville Pennsylvania, 20 miles east of Pittsburgh. I am in the graduating class of 2023 from Franklin Regional. Swimming has always been a passion of mine. Since the age of five, first sticking my foot in the water at the YMCA for my first swim lesson, I knew I shared a passion for this sport. I have swam for the past 10 years, year around, on my club team (FAST), high school team, and my summer swim team. Some of my biggest achievements I have met include: qualifying for the AAA WPIAL meet as a freshman (and sophomore),swimming the 100 back individually and also starting off the 200 medley relay which placed 11th, meeting the time standards and participating in the Eastern Conference Zones meet in 2018 (swimming 7 individual events and further qualifying for finals in the 50 back), qualifying as a 13 year old for senior circuit, and for the past 5 years, and counting, have made highest honor with distinction every 9 weeks when we receive our report card. To go along with swimming, I value education just as much. I am beyond excited to be able to pursue my passion for the sport I love and my educational career throughout college. I have a very caring personality and never want to see anyone suffer. From there, that is why I would love to further my education through a medical point of view, in specific, physical therapy. I am very passionate and find so much joy when helping people and seeing others succeed. What sets me apart and different from other athletes is my strong work ethnic in the water and while in the classroom. With whatever I am doing, I make sure I give it my all and make sure it is done right to achieve the best possible results. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile!
