My name is Hoyt Waldrop, I started competitively swimming at 14 years old as a Freshman, but due to Covid-19, I did not swim my Sophomore year. I have started again my junior year and I currently attend Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas. I swam varsity as a Freshman and swim varsity as a Junior. I want to be able to become as fast as I possibly can by working hard and pushing myself. I also try and help my own teammates out by giving them pointers based on my knowledge and pep talk them. I want a college that can provide an opportunity to make me better athletically. Academically, I want a school that has opportunities for business degrees, and/or psychology degrees, because those are my areas of interest. Athletically and Academically I know that if I try hard enough, I can and will achieve my goals.
