I've loved swimming since I started at 9 years old. I began with a summer team and knew right away that I wanted to be part of a more competitive, year-round club program. I currently swim for Lakeside Aquatics Club (Gold medal club) and Frisco High School. Now that I've experienced the excitement of a school sport, my goal is to take that to a collegiate level.
I have been competitive and successful at a state level for my club and high school teams. During my 2015-2016 high school season our men's team came up short at state at second place, this season I am very motivated to work even harder as I have learned a lot from our second place finish. I've won coaches awards and was also elected team captain for the 2014 as well as the 2015 North Texas Southern Zones team. I am currently team captain for my outstanding high school swim team program. I feel that I have a strong leadership ability which has helped me throughout my swimming career.
Being a dedicated student athlete, I am focused on improving my GPA. I am part of a community service program that has me on track to graduate with 100 hours of service. I also participate in the National Honor Society for my school.
My goal is to attend a college that is a good academic fit and where my abilities in the water can contribute to team success. I have an open mind and I am eager to explore opportunities!
