I began playing basketball in St.Louis,Missouri while in second grade, but joined the team Mo Elite in fourth grade. We had a combined team of third and fourth graders and traveled to AAU Nationals in Florida. In fifth grade my family decided to move to Texas, and I then joined DC Queens reloaded. I played for them for three years and was part of the AAU National Championship in 2017.
When I first started playing I was one of the taller kids, so I had to learn how to be a center. I then learned how to rebound and developed my love for defense. When we made the move to Texas I was no longer the tallest so I had to change positions and be a point guard. I got better at handling the ball, driving to the basket, and becoming a team player. Defensively, I guard the opposing teams' best perimeter players every game!
I just participated in the Lonestar Championship at ATT Stadium in Arlington, TX and here is a list of the tournaments my team will be attending this summer.
