I fell in love with the water at a very young age and began swimming competitively shortly after. I enjoy the water, but I enjoy competing and learning new techniques even more. The adrenaline rush of diving in the water and beating your goal time is always a great feeling.
It’s important to know that I’m always willing to learn new things and I think that with the right coaching, I could become a very valuable asset to a collegiate swim team. My ultimate goal is to make an appearance in the Olympics one day, but my focus would be on my classes of course. I understand that there are many challenges but those are challenges I am ready to take on.
I look forward to majoring in a science and engineering program and after I graduate or even during school, I would like to teach other kids to swim.
