June 2021Personal Statement
Hello, my name is Asher. I’ve participated in many sports before I found my true sport- swimming. The sport of swimming has truly changed my life, in a way I could’ve never imagined. It taught me how to overcome my obstacles, and come out stronger than I was before. Most importantly swimming taught me patience. I learned that you’re not always going to get where you want to be the first go round, it takes consistency, persistence, and effort. I’m really looking forward to continuing to swim in college, learning more, and achieving greater goals.
