Hello! I am Sawyer Stevens and I am Junior at Kimberly High School. I started my swimming career my freshman year of highschool. I started off as your average freestyle sprinter to over time picking up and training breaststroke as my main stroke. I have played many sports before I decided to join swim, but after my first year I found a love for the sport like no other and decided to put in max effort in hopes of achieving my goals. I have swam on 2 club teams BPSC as well as the one i'm currently swimming for, FCYST, and my highschool team. Here I have been given the many opportunities to train and learn from various of coaches, that have helped me expand my athletic ability. Another interesting characteristic is not only my athletic drive but also my academic one. I take my education very seriously for I do to have goals I wish to achieve. One way I go about doing this is by taking a rigorous challenging course load year after year. Taking Honors, AP, and CAPP classes. Here these classes not only expand my educational view, but also gives the ability to tackle the task of balancing tough situations, in this case classes and outside school related activities such as swim and work. I believe as an individual I am well adapted to handle change and willing to grow, as well as balancing challenges and tasks around me.
