Growing up my mom had always made me do swim team and I hadn’t necessarily liked doing it so I had quit for about 1.5 years. But when I came back around to it my sophomore year I loved it and became dedicated to the sport. I put in work in the off-season and qualified for state. I got 7th and 8th in 2 events and 3rd in my relays at state and realized I’m not terrible at the sport. Now everyday I’m down at my local pool swimming for about 1-2 hours staying in shape and improving my technique.
