My name is Nicholas Marroquin and I am a sophomore at Paradise Valley Community College. My goal is to transfer to a four year college where I can attain my bachelor’s degree in Business/Finance and continue playing the sport I'm passionate about, tennis. In my freshman year in college I played at the number 1 and 2 position in singles, and number 1 in doubles. It was a great experience to make it to the Junior College Nationals, and this has motivated me to continue improving in order to lead my team to a return to nationals for a second time. I'm a multi-sport athlete and played soccer in high school, but tennis is my passion and the sport for which I was recognized as Prescott High School Male Athlete of the year in 2015, and the first tennis athlete to be recognized for this award. I don't shy away from working on my tennis, conditioning and weight training, and I'm excited to join a four year program that will continue to push me to improve in order to contribute to the team's success.
