My name is Kaetan Mehta and I am a Canadian born student athlete who is living and training full time at the Weil Tennis and College Preparatory Academy in Ojai, California since I was 14. I am highly committed to pursuing a varsity playing career at a university/college with a strong reputations in tennis and business/sports marketing and management. I am a loyal teammate and committed athlete and student. I enjoy the challenges, physical and mental, that tennis offers and I am always striving to be better. Although I ultimately have chosen an individual sport, a unique aspect of my background is my history of playing a team sport, soccer, at a club level for almost a decade which taught me interpersonal skills, how to work in a team and the importance of communication. I am a strong student who enjoys analytical content, especially statistics related to sport, as well as economics and business related topics. In tennis, I am a passionate player and study the game both on and off the court. I am constantly striving to improve myself in order to reach the next level. I am willing to do the work required in all aspects of the sport, mentally physically and tactically and have learned to manage a busy schedule of academics, athletics and personal life which will help me be successful as a varsity athlete.
