Winning League preliminary my freshman year was the biggest success of my high school tennis career so far. However as a team we did not get past the second round of CIF's. This is where I really learned and experienced what a it really takes to become a team player. That experience helped me grow and helped my partner and I to go and reach the fourth round of CIF individuals in doubles. I feel that I am learning what it really means to become a student-athlete this year as a sophomore. I realize the dedication and the amount of hours that is needed to be able to play at the college level.
I found myself very fortunate for my team as well as my coaches. I am starting to learn and grasp the idea of the value of leadership, commitment, sacrifice, and most importantly teamwork. I am looking for a school that will be a good fit for me not only athletically but also academically. Not only do I believe that I obtain the talent to be on your team, but I also believe I have the character and work ethic to make an impact on your program.
