Bill Vu '27 Recruiting Profile

I am a student from Vietnam who currently attends a private boarding, Pomfret School, located in Pomfret Connecticut. I had attended a junior boarding from 6th - 9th grade, up in Deerfield Massachusetts before Pomfret. I first held a racket when I was only 3 years old, playing at my mom's court with her friends. I love the sport and am a hard-working athlete trying to reach my goal of playing D1 tennis and hopefully going pro in the future. I am an open-minded and calm player, and I don't let mistakes on the court affect my game. My passion for tennis will hopefully help me excel in my game and my future as a tennis player. I train hard and care about my progress as a player. I've competed in many local tournaments back in Vietnam, with all age groups and had many successes in doubles and singles. I am #1 doubles and #2 singles this year as a new freshman at Pomfret.
